Not sure what to do with all of the Halloween candy that your kiddos are getting? Mine aren’t even in school yet and I feel like the weeks even leading up to Halloween we are just getting so much candy already! Then I came across this Halloween Candy Bark idea on Pinterest and was like yess!!
This makes for an adorable treat for a Halloween party. Put these in little clear Halloween baggies and they look like you spent hours making these little treats, but really only takes a few minutes.
Not only is this a great idea for Halloween Candy leftovers, but I’m thinking this will also work for Christmas, Easter, birthdays… you name it! Swap out the sprinkles and candy pieces for different themed colors of your choice. What a fun little simple project that the kids can definitely help with.

I literally couldn’t get those little hands out of my pictures! Way too much deliciousness in this treat. Milk chocolate + salty pretzels + peanut buttery candies + crunchy sprinkles and even more white chocolate on top = little slice of heaven.
I melted the white chocolate and tried to make it like a spider web on top (those that are more artistic might make it look more spider web like), but if nothing else it was fun to make!
I’m already planning a Christmas version of this. I love that the kids can just throw candies on it and it’s so simple, delicious (of course) and very festive looking. The Decorated Cookie has some adorable ideas for Christmas Bark I will definetely be using.
Side note… I will not be including the nutrition facts for this “recipe”. Better off that way. 😉 Enjoy!
Halloween Candy Bark
Delicious and festive sweet and salty treat.
- 1 Bag Milk chocolate chips Dark chocolate would also be delicious
- 1/2 Cup White chocolate chips
- ~1 Cup Assorted candies I used Kit Kats, Reeses Pieces, Crunch Bars
- 2 Cups Pretzels Any kind will do
- ~2 Tbsp Sprinkles Eyeballs are recommended too
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place all the pretzels in one layer on baking sheet. Unwrap candies and get them ready before you melt chocolate. Break into desired sizes.
Melt the milk chocolate chips in microwave safe dish. Start with 1 minutes at 50% power, stir. Repeat as needed until melted. Check frequently to avoid burning the chocolate.
Pour the chocolate over the pretzels, spread evenly with spatula. Top with the candies.
Melt the white chocolate chips. Will probably only need 1 minute at 50% power at most. Drizzle over the milk chocolate and candies in pattern desired. Could also die the white chocolate a color if desired.
Top with Sprinkles and eyeballs (optional)
Place in freezer until firm. ~20 minutes. Cut or break into desired sized pieces.
